Landon Porter is the author of the webserial novel The Descendants and the larger Descendants Universe, a complete comic book universe in prose featuring everything from a superhero high school (Liedecker Institute) to supernatural confidence men (Spider’s 7). He is an alumni of the University of Mary Washington. His work focuses on taking comic book superheroes (and fantasy for his other works) back to a time before the grim and gritty trends of the modern age to a time when it was possible to tackle real life issues and relationships AND be fun.

All this and he admits to being a sucker for romance, fan fiction and romantic fan fiction. He also loves SCIENCE! (as distinct from science without the capital letters and exclamation point), tabletop gaming and cooking–it is terrifying when he combines the three.
