Announcing my 3 book deal with Alloy Entertainment

They there PCS readers! I am super excited to announce my new book deal with Alloy Entertainment. After self-publishing the first two books in my teen superhero series, Powered, I was approached by Alloy who then acquired the series! We’ve redone the books, edited them to be a thousand times better and changed the titles to the now much cooler-sounding City of Legends Series. They will be re-released into the world on Feb. 2nd 2016.

This was quite an awesome experience for me and I am psyched to be associated with the company who brought us Pretty Little Liars, The 100, and tons of other amazing books and TV shows.

A lot of people are asking if they can dive straight into book 3, Empire Rising, instead of re-reading the first two books. My answer is: sure . . . I mean I guess you can? Truthfully, I’d love if you re-read the first two because although the core of each story is there, we’ve added two new characters and changed a few names of things. IE- the KAPOW is now the Aero and the BEEPR is now the Codex.

You can find City of Legends on Amazon here, and the blurb below:

Maci Knight has grown up in the shadow of legends. Her father and her brother, Max, are Heroes, worshipped by humans and Supers alike for their strength and valor. All she’s ever wanted is to follow in their footsteps, to fight villains and protect humankind. But Maci has a secret—one that could change everything.

Maci had a twin sister who died the same day they were born. In their world, one twin is always good, while the other always eventually turns evil. There’s no way to tell which twin will go rogue . . . which means no one knows if Maci will suddenly become a villain.

The closer she gets to her eighteenth birthday, the more she has feelings she can’t control: Violence. Rage. Revenge. Maci wants to be a Hero. But she may not have a choice . . .

The first in a trilogy, City of Legends introduces a new superhero mythology and an unstoppable heroine.

Congratulations, that’s great news! I really like the new covers, too – pretty zippy looking!

I just finished reading Powered a few days ago, and I absolutely loved it. I will definitely have to pick up the new edits. Congratulations on your deal!
